Building Bridges at Renew 37

This is a safe supportive group, in partnership with the Rushcliffe Co-production Project and New Life Baptist Church, to be used for promoting acceptance, knowledge and understanding of mental health. 

Everyone is welcome, to socialise or just be somewhere different. Crafts and activities are available but not obligatory, neither is any religious or spiritual leaning. We promote tolerance and open-mindedness for all.

There is no pressure to be on time or attend regularly and you can stay for however long you feel. Building Bridges runs from 1-3pm on Mondays at Renew 37 on Abbey Rd, West Bridgford, next to Tiffins Tea Shop.  Come and join us for a cuppa!

Renew 37 also has other activities during the week. 

Every Monday to Thursday, from 9am - 3pm, the centre is open as a wellbeing space for the community. Based on the 5 Ways to Wellbeing, we look at ways to improve our mental health, focusing on:

• be active
• take notice
• keep learning
• give

Anyone is welcome to share a hobby or skill and join a workshop. There are various activities ranging from arts and crafts to knitting, reading, puzzles, games etc. Other activities have included small furniture restoration, photography, painting, quilting, book groups etc - all free. Its a great place to meet new people in a safe and friendly space. Occasional trips have been organised where friends meet outside of 37 - past activities have included, cycle rides, meals out, cinema etc - these are at your own cost.
