Muskham Preschool
We are a well established charity run preschool that is run by 4 fully qualified long standing staff members alongside a committee catering for children from ages 2 years - 5 years old. We have 2 large rooms plus a very good outdoor area. We offer weekly Caterpillar Music sessions and forest school/activities and work closely with the local church and helping the community.
We are a very friendly team and an all inclusive setting having some experience of children with additional/special needs, providing high quality care and education a loving, nurturing environment for your children to play, learn and make lots of new friends.
Muskham Pre School is at the heart of the community to provide an ‘happy’, ‘homely’ environment where the children can build secure relationships, confidence and become settled in our environment. They will learn through play and their own interests indoors and out so they can thrive and achieve in their learning and ready to start their next adventure in life.

Settling In
- How will you help children to settle into your setting?
- Children/parents/guardians/grandparents are all very welcome to come and look around our setting meet and talk to the staff until they feel confident to leave their child with us. We will ask the parent to fill out some registration forms and 'All about me' forms so staff can start to gain knowledge of the child likes and dislikes to help the child settle. We will send regular updates/photos via text messages or phone call to let them now how their child is getting on.
Progress
- How will you communicate with parents/carers about their child's progress?
- We use an online learning journey called 'Eylog' where we do baseline assessments, tracking and observations are made on here, parents can also send us any information on their child too that they have done at home. Face to face parents evenings
