Joanne Kirk
I am a qualified Nursery Nurse and have been a childminder in this area since 2009 . I have worked in senior positions as a deputy and also managed a nursery for 5 years where I cared for children aged 6 weeks to 8 years. I keep up to date with the necessary policies, procedures and regulations and extend my learning by attending relevant courses.
I incorporate the Early years Foundation guidelines into my planning and daily activities. I live in a nice safe and quiet area and there is plenty of space to play indoors and out. My aim is to promote a safe, warm and stimulating environment which children and parents can enjoy being a part of. To make learning fun, introduce new experiences and provide a well balanced day. Including trips to the parks, library and local short walks. I create an environment where your children can develop at their own rate whilst being in a home from home caring environment.
