The Request for Early Help online referral is for professionals looking to make a referral to the Early Help Unit for Nottinghamshire children and families only. This form can be used for:

Please note, the Early Help Assessment Form (EHAF) will remain in use as an assessment and planning tool for universal services working with families with emerging needs.

  • Any child or young person at immediate risk should be referred to the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH)
  • To report a crime, please contact Nottinghamshire Police. In an emergency, always call 999.
  • Lead professionals seeking direct intervention or looking to step-down at closure for ongoing support should consult the Nottinghamshire County Council Intranet for further guidance.
