The C Card Scheme Nottinghamshire
The C Card Scheme is a free sexual health advise and condom service for young people aged 13-25 living in Nottinghamshire.
The C Card scheme allows young people to get access to condoms, lubricants and ask any questions they have about sex, sexually transmitted infections and relationships.
You don't have to be having sex to use this service; the advice is free and confidential and is aimed at helping young people make the right choice about sexual health.
The scheme is available from a range of places including:
- health centres
- GP practices
- youth centres
- colleges and schools
- pharmacies...................and many more!
How to get a C Card
To get a C Card you need to attend a registration point and go through a registration with a trained C Card worker. The trained worker will have a discussion with you about a range of things including sex, STIs, pregnancy, relationships and how to use a condom.
Once this is complete and the worker feels you are ready for a C Card you will be given a C Card with your personal ID number and can start accessing free condoms and lubes.
