Hi, I'm Cherie. Welcome to Hunny Bunny's Childcare!

I'm an Ofsted Registered Childminder in Sutton in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. I am fully insured, Paediatric First Aid trained and a member of PACEY. I became a registered Childminder in April 2015, working with children aged 0-8 years. I hold a Level 3 childcare qualification in Early Years Care and Education and previously worked with children aged 1 to 8 years old in nurseries and schools. I also became a first time Mum in September 2021. 

Open 8am-5pm Tuesday - Friday (excluding Bank Holidays). Late departures up to 5.30pm may be available by individual agreement at an additional charge. Childcare provision for under 5's, including 15/30 Funded Hours are available. Bank transfers, Childcare Vouchers, Funded Hours and Tax-Free Childcare Payments are all accepted.

I offer a welcoming, homely and educational setting, ensuring the comfort, safety and well-being of all children within my care. I provide age appropriate educational resources and have an activity room and a secure garden in which to explore both indoor and outdoor activities. I also have my own pushchairs, high/low chairs, sleep mats, changing mat, downstairs toilet, car seats and my own 7-seater transport for use.

Snacks and packed lunches are provided at no additional charge for weened children, along with fresh drinking water throughout the day. N.B. Baby milk, weaning meals/snacks and food catering for food allergies and/or intolerances must be supplied from home.

Activities and outings are planned in accordance with the EYFS, Next Steps and children's interests, aiding development. Term Time outings to local playgroups, parks and soft play centres are provided at no additional charge. External outings to local country parks, adventure parks, farms and the cinema are provided during school holidays (additional entry charges may apply).

Daily updates and Observations are recorded online via the Family App for under 5's, allowing parents/carers to log in, view, and comment on their child's development progress. I network with other local Childminders and we work together to provide emergency/holiday cover if circumstances allow.
