Collingham & District Pre-school
All staff have many years experience of working with pre-school children.
We offer a huge range of activities to promote play and learning in all areas of development. Our setting runs from a large room in Wesley Rooms, with access to an enclosed safe, outside area.
We are committed to developing children's communication and language skills; one member of staff is designated as our language lead, which enhances our provision.

- No child is excluded, one-to-one support if needed. Experienced and qualified staff who have worked, over the years, with children with varying special needs. We are a very friendly setting who seek to support families in whatever way we can. We do this mainly by providing a 'home-from-home' environment, where children can develop to their best potential, whether they have additional needs or not. We seek to develop strong links with parents and families as we believe this provides the best support to help our children thrive. We use the Tapestry learning journal to share information and observations with parents as well as making the most of face to face interactions at the start and end of the day. A visit with parents is provided before the child starts with us and our team has vast experience supporting children to settle and transition from parents to our setting. We have particular experience of one to one support, especially in communication, language and social skills. Staff have also worked with children with varying levels of ASD and behavioural issues. Our team have some experience of supporting children with Downs Syndrome, Global Delay and particular medical needs such as epilepsy, hearing loss and food allergies.

Great traditional Pre-school
Rated 5 out of 5My Son started this pre-school when he turned 2 years 9 months and he has loved every minute. The preschool provides a warm home-from -home feel which allows children to explore and interact at their own pace. I could not recommend it highly enough.
