In addition, residents have the opportunity to contribute to their home life – our garden is fully accessible to all, our activities include arranging flowers for the table, even helping with the cooking and housework, should they choose to do so. We have created a kitchenette which allows people to use in a safe way to continue using their life skills. Everything we do is intended to help people to feel valued and at home.

As well as longer term placements, we also offer respite and day care facilities. Our staff can also help with
shopping or accompanying residents for appointments or social occasions.

We involve ourselves in many local initiatives, and enjoy people coming in to our home. Our staff receive training in all areas to ensure they can deliver services to the required standard.

Our Staff

A full team of carers and senior carers with extensive experience in working with older people are employed at Clifton Manor to ensure all residents receive the best possible care and when needed, medical attention.

A dedicated Activities Co-ordinator works tirelessly to organise social events and day to day activities to ensure people enjoy life and are engaged with purposeful activities that they enjoy.

Cooks, domestic and maintenance teams ensure the home is maintained to a good standard and is always kept clean to meet the requirements of all health and safety and hygiene inspections.

The home manager is responsible for overseeing all services within the home, supported by her heads of department and administrator.
