British Sign Language (BSL) Classes levels 1, 2 & 3

We offer three levels of the nationally recognised British Sign language (BSL) qualifications developed by Signature.

These courses are aimed at individuals who would like to learn BSL because they work with, or aspire to work with, Deaf service users, have Deaf colleagues, friends or family, or simply wish to learn a new skill.

Using a variety of resources, teaching methods and activities, these qualifications will give learners the ability and confidence to communicate with Deaf people in a range of situations.

We deliver quality training through our excellent tutoring team. Our qualified and experienced Tutors are Deaf and use BSL as their first language. Each of them has a deep understanding of the language and culture, and teaches with a great deal of skill, knowledge and humour.

Individual learning at NDS means that you will have the unique opportunity to become involved with the Deaf community. Students are always welcome to come to our Deaf Social Club where you’ll have the chance to build confidence in your new skills by socialising with Deaf BSL users, and practising signing in the best possible environment.
