Better By Bike

Our Better by Bike project is for anyone in Nottingham aged 18 or over who is experiencing stress, anxiety or depression that is affecting their day today wellbeing. We offer a range of free activities to support participants to become confident cyclists so they can enjoy all the health and social benefits that come with riding a bike. We have many donated bikes and professional mechanics that will help participants work towards building themselves a bike, which will be theirs to keep. After a morning in the workshop, participants will be given the space to eat together and will head out on an informal, relaxed bike ride using traffic free routes around Nottingham, lead by a qualified cycle instructor. Refreshments provided throughout the day but participants will need to bring a packed lunch. No previous experience necessary. It's totally free but please get in touch beforehand to book a place as it is very popular!
