Join a unique and exciting trek, to a country which has long been off the map for most travellers.
We’re asking people aged 18 and over, from across Nottinghamshire, to join Marie Curie’s Burma Trek, taking place from 6-14 May 2018. By taking on this once in a lifetime challenge you will help us provide support for more people living with a terminal illness locally.
This challenge will take you into the northern lakes to explore the remote villages, forests and temples of the region over five days of tough but rewarding trekking.
Passing temples, monasteries, rice paddies and through deep valleys and steep hilly terrain, this is a superb experience in a truly unique country. The trip finishes at the picturesque Inle Lake, arguably one of the most spectacular and special wonders of South East Asia.
The more people we can get involved in our treks, the more people we will be able to continue supporting across Nottinghamshire.
