Pearl Anekwe is a professionally qualified and UKCP accredited Family Psychotherapist (-United Kingdom Counselling & Psychotherapy)
She offers safe private psychotherapy for the whole family and individuals. She works with adults, adolescents, teens and children in person, by telephone and online.
She works within the UKCP ethical framework and offers psychotherapeutic support for a range of emotional and mental health challenges. Family Therapy can help with a wide range of things including: parenting issues, child and adolescent behaviour, child, adolescent and adult mental health and changes in family life.Sometimes these problems have been present across generations.
The aim of Family Therapy is to find ways for family members to help.each other when there is an issue or serious problem that is affecting the rest of the family. In Family Therapy Pearl works with families and those in close relationships who experience problems. She explores their views and relationships to understand the problems they are having.
Pearl will help families to communicate better with each other and try to find safe ways to resolve the difficulties.
Family therapy is suitable for children and adults of all ages.

Pearl rents a therapy room in a couple of venues in Nottingham. The venue which she uses is dependent on the locality of the client, the client's preference and or venue and room availability.

- Fees £50- Individual (adult) £30 child- primary school age £35 child, 12 yrs old- 15 years old £40 child, 16- 17 years old £70 Family- 1 or 2 adults x 1 or 2 chilren) family composition fees can be negotiated if it doesn't fit this criteria) £60 - 1x couples Free 15 min telephone consultation Schools / academies/ organisations- fees to be discussed for hourly or daily rates There is an additional charge of £10 per hour for room booking fee.

Assessment starts with a 15 min telephone conversation to hear about the concerns, difficulties and to see if Family Therapy is suitable.
A more detailed assessment meeting is then organised to understand what the difficulties are and to ask questions etc.
