Nottinghamshire Hospice - Bereavement Support
Bereavement support at Nottinghamshire Hospice is person-centred with no judgment – it’s simply a safe space to be heard. There’s no wrong or right way to approach grief and everyone deals with things differently.
That’s why we have a range of support at our Day Therapy Centre in Nottingham according to your needs. We can also arrange to see you at home or within your local community.
We offer:
- One-to-one emotional support
- Counselling
- Telephone support
- Spiritual support from the chaplaincy team
- Information and advice sessions
- Bereavement Support groups
Our bereavement support groups meet on:
The last Saturday of each month (except November) from 10am until 12 noon at Nottinghamshire Hospice, 384 Woodborough Road, Nottingham, NG3 4JF
The last Tuesday of each month (except December) from 10.30am until 12.30pm in the Presbytery Meeting Room of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 280 Nottingham Road, Eastwood, Nottingham, NG16 2AQ.
There is also a friendship group that meets on the last Saturday of each month (except November) from 10.30am until 12.30pm at Nottinghamshire Hospice.
All support is free of charge and available to anyone aged 18 or over, living in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, who has experienced the death of a relative or friend following an illness.
